Project Management Information System

From project initiation to progress visibility in one connected environment.

A fictional project-management scenario using synthetic records and simplified workflows. It does not reproduce an employer process or production data.

MY CONTRIBUTION

Designed and developed PMIS application experiences and project-control functionality, including Oracle APEX interfaces, SQL-backed project views, navigation, milestone structures, dynamic counters and current-status logic.

Users — Management and operational teams reviewing project and portfolio information.

The business problem

Disconnected project trackers and historical status records made it difficult to present a coherent, current portfolio view.

The local React demo reconstructs the connected project lifecycle. It is not an Oracle APEX deployment; the production technologies describe my implementation work, not the runtime of this portfolio.

What I designed and developed

  • Landing experience · Welcome, project summaries, quick links, portfolio / department switching and new-project navigation.
  • Project structures · Project information, milestones, dated progress and status history linked to management views.
  • Latest applicable status · Summary counters use the relevant current snapshot rather than indiscriminately counting historical records.
  • Oracle APEX interfaces · SQL-backed tables and dynamic counters, HTML layouts, CSS styling and JavaScript behavior.
  • Management navigation · Project summaries, status visibility and consistent routes into project information.

Business improvement

  • Centralized project information and structured milestone tracking.
  • More consistent current-status reporting and portfolio visibility.
  • Clearer navigation and management presentation, with less reliance on disconnected trackers.

Conversation state stays in page memory; messages are sent to this site's server for local matching, without OpenAI. Answers use approved portfolio knowledge and demos use synthetic data. Visitor claims never become verified knowledge automatically. Only in development, with the separate consent below, sanitized knowledge gaps are temporarily held in server memory for review. They are lost on restart and are not collected in production.

Abuse protection uses a temporary source hash, not raw IPs; it expires within 24 hours and is removed on subsequent requests.
